Teaching Kids: Which Foot? Which Shoe?

Quick Tips
Does anyone else's kiddos have a tough time trying to figure out which shoe goes on which foot?
I came up with this simple idea to help them. Using a permanent marker, I drew a small smiley face on the inside of each shoe.
When they ask me "Mom, is this right?" I just remind them that the smiley faces should be facing each other..."smiling at each other." It works every time!

Great idea. I have been trying to figure out a way to teach my three yo and I was going to write a L and R on each shoe but I like your idea better.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just today my son, once again, had his shoes on the wrong feet. Now, I can't wait for him to wake up in the morning and find that his shoes are smiling.
